Student Insurance
All day or evening students who are enrolled in an approved credit and/or non-credit class or are engaged in a school sponsored, supervised, approved and calendared activities in a college of the District are covered by a school accident insurance policy with certain benefit limitations. The premium is included in student fees.
The school policy covers accidents occurring only while the eligible student is attending class during the hours when college is in session, traveling for regular class sessions, directly to or from home and college other than by motorized vehicle, or participating in or attending an activity exclusively sponsored, supervised, approved and calendared by the college.

All injuries should be reported immediately to the College Safety Office, (602) 285-7911. When an accident or injury occurs, the student and advisor or sponsor should initiate the proper claim forms through the Office of Student Life and Leadership.

BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB
Gain real world experience while having fun! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix needs volunteer coaches, tutors, gym leaders, games room helpers, artists, dance instructors, thespians, and computer techies to open a whole new world of opportunities to our youth. Share the skills you have gained in school with Phoenix鈥檚 at risk youth. Volunteer once a week for an hour at one of our 10 Valley club locations and make a real difference.

MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION
Wish granting volunteers are needed to assist in fulfilling our mission, to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experiences with hope, strength, and joy. These volunteers, known as Fairy Godmothers and Fairy Godfathers, work in teams of two or three and are integral in fulfilling wishes. As a wish granter, you meet the child and family, help determine the wish, and act as a liaison between the family and the Foundation. Bilingual wish granters are also in great need. Training is provided.
