Dual Enrollment

Welcome! We’re excited to have you as a ��ϲ�ȫ��ͼ�� student!

Getting an early start on your college education can definitely pay off later on, and we’re here to help you get that early start. In fact, studies show that students experience greater academic success in college when they complete dual enrollment courses in high school.

When you take dual enrollment classes, you’ll be earning high school and college credits at the same time. Plus, you’ll gain the experience of being a college student.��ϲ�ȫ��ͼ�� partners with Valley high schools to offer dual enrollment credit for academic and occupational classes. The courses are taught on high school campuses by college-approved high school teachers and can be counted toward high school graduation requirements.

Dual Enrollment Spring 2024 Deadlines:
January 26th - Maricopa Grant Priority Deadline
February 2nd - DE Maricopa Grant Final Deadline
February 16th - DE Application Deadline
February 23rd - DE Payment Deadline

FIRST TIME STUDENTS OR RETURNING STUDENTS ADDING A COLLEGE

Step 1 – (Admission Guide - PDF)

Create student account or verify current information
Select a college
Submit proof of identification
When you finish your application, you will receive:
- MEID
- Student ID Number
- Maricopa Email

Step 2 -

Duo is Maricopa Community Colleges’ two-factor authentication service, providing an extra layer of security to protect against hackers, cyber threats, and any unauthorized access to sensitive data.

Download the Duo Mobile app from Apple or Google Play store.

Follow the Duo Mobile set-up instructions. Your student email account (MEID@maricopa.edu) is required.
Add your phone number.
Choose your device:
- iPhone or Android Smartphone (more secure and recommended option)
- iPad or Tablet (next best option)
- Traditional cell phone
- Landline
Log in to a Maricopa Community Colleges system.
Start using Duo two-factor authentication when prompted through your device choice.

Step 3&�Բ��;– Determine Placement
Our colleges utilize multiple options to determine course placement for students

Juniors and Seniors&�Բ��;–&�Բ��;
Sophomores&�Բ��;–

Step 4 – () and ()
Students must select ��ϲ�ȫ��ͼ�� as their college for Dual Enrollment. After completing the Dual Application you will then have the opportunity to apply for the Maricopa Grant

You will need to upload the following documents:

State ID (High School ID is ok)
US Birth Certificate and/or Permanent Residency Card
Unofficial Transcript
Students must meet

Please give us 7 - 10 business days to review your application.

Step 6&�Բ��;–
Tuition assistance is available from the Maricopa Grant for those who qualify.
